CWG Sports Complex Akshardham Swimming Pool Review - Delhi Swimming Pools 

Summer is right moment when you'll want to jump into a swimming pool to enjoy. We know many of the best and worst swimming pools in Delhi. Like CWG Sports Complex, YMCA (Best), Talkatora (Only for practice not for learners), and dhyan chand national stadium (worse swimming pool i ever see in my life) etc... But today i am going to tell you about CWG Sports Complex Swimming Pool which is located in east Delhi front of Akshardham Mandir.

The Commonwealth Games Village sports complex was opened for public in the year of 2013. The Complex is handling by DDA (Delhi Development Authority). They are providing many games swimming, cricket, football tennis, dance, gym etc...

So now let's talk about Swimming as i wrote i had swim in plenty Delhi pools. CWG Sports Complex is a indoor swimming pool and i can say CWG Sports Complex good swimming pool for practice batch they are also provide coaching for learners. Swimming pool length is 50 meters (164.0 ft.) and width is 25 meters (82.0 ft.) that's an Olympic-size swimming pool but Depth is only 5 feet & i love to swim in 10+ depths and if you like high depth pools too so CWG Sports Complex swimming pool is not for you. But if you don't find any swimming pool which have high depth so join CWG Sports Complex Akshardham Swimming Pool because Majburi ka naam mahatma Gandhi hain. 

There are many swimming pools with high depth here are the list.  YMCA Swimming pool (12 Feet), dhyan chand national stadium swimming pool (7 Feet) but i suggest you not to join that swimming pool because it's water is too salty even you can't swim for 10 minutes. Talkatora swimming pool depth 6.5 feet. 

Pros and Cons

Disadvantages CWG Sports Complex Akshardham Swimming Pool 

1. First one as i said depth is not too high, 

2. You need to get membership first. it's cost you around 5.7K and then you have to pay for swimming 52 rs Daily drip or 866 rs monthly & it's too costly if you only want to do swimming. 

3. You can't dive because they don't allow.  

4. Ask too many documents if you are not 21+ than you have to submit your birth certificate.

5. Below the age of 5 Children are not allowed in the swimming pool.

CWG Sports Complex Swimming Advantages

1. Indoor Swimming Pool in Delhi

2. Water is sugary not a little bit salty 

3. Good Changing Room with cleaning

4. An Olympic size pool 

5. Good gentry

Conclusion 

It's a good pool with good gentry if you ever went to kanti nagar swimming pool so there you will listen maximum peoples are abusing & they don't have a class or they belong to lower class so if you from east Delhi and close to Akshardham to must join.
